I suppose you could but I don't know what you would use. It has to fit the little pulleys and the stronger/tighter it is the more
load on the front motor bearing. I was told the belts are special made for these things, but im not so shore. Looks just like an oring to me.

I found a better fitting body. The monster GT 8.0 body fits the flm chassis w/monoblock just about perfect. The stock front body post holes even lined right up with just a tiny bit of reaming on the holes. And the stock rear single center post hole lined right up to the hole for the switch in the cross support. Just needs a little more customizing and cover up the team assoc. on the windshield. Ill keep this one nice for a shelf body. Got a much tougher proline raptor body or the short trx body to run it.

Thanks guys, The wheels are ti22 titanium beadlocks. I had the breakdisk/hub thingy drilled out to 8mm and made some alum spacers to beef them up a bit. Plus they just look cool imo. Theres Really no locking mechanism. Just the axle screw holds them on.
I have a set of 17mm wheel hubs for it so I can run other wheels too. With them the 17mm wheel hub nut cant get buy the washer on the axle screw and even if the axle screw fell out the hub is still held on by the pin witch is captured by the wheel. So its almost a failsafe set up to keep the tire from falling off with them.

I think this one is built quite durable. Im in no rush to take it out and scratch it just yet. But trust me I will. I didn't spend over 2k to just look at it. But right now its about 20 degrees out side and wet and isn't going to get any better soon.
I got a couple G2 chassis for my next two projects. Im thinking of building a 2wd road machine out of one of them. lol
Ever since the first time I took my roadmaxx out to a big parking lot I thought it would be cool if it was just rear wheel drive.
and you could drift the back end around. So I think I will build one.

So I told my wife I wanted a Monster GT 8.0 1/8 scale Monster Truck Lexan body for my E-Maxx for Christmas. She responded with, What the He(( is that, and where the HE(( is she going to find that. I said, uhm, I don't know, ask EMAXXBRUSHLESS on the Traxxas website. LOL, there is only one Hobby shop near our place in Surrey BC Canada, and frankly I have never even been into it. I told her to go and try there. I tried to explain to her what it was and ended up in a fairly heated discussion. I got to told to go and buy it and then give her the receipt. LOL. I think the storey was more funny in my head.

Thanks guys, I got the body from here. It fits pretty good with a monoblock chassis extension. Its also made for a nitro truck so it has a big hole behind the driver side where the nitro motor would be.
