    Can I put a 3500 vxl motor on a traxxas mini revo or slash mini?
    nothing runs like a traxxas

    yes...but i would use the vxl-3s esc also. the vxl-3m is almost too weak for the 380 can velineon motor.

    You'll also need the motor mounting parts from a brushed mini...or a tenbol mount

    Parts you will need in addition to the motor and ESC:
    $8 Motor Plate (7380)
    $4 Gear Cover/Hardware (7379)
    $10 Motor Mount (7360)
    $10 Rx Cover (7024x)

    This is a picture of the difference in Rx covers:

    New style (for big block) is on top.
    Unless you have an OLD 16th, you probably have the new style box.

    I also strongly suggest running two high quality LiPo's in parallel with the 3500 motor. It is amp hungry.

    Just giving a C rating is completely pointless. Here is why:
    800mAh 40C battery can deliver 32 amps constantly.
    2500mAh 25C battery can deliver 62.5 amps constantly.
    Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
