    Any more info?
Hoping proline gets their act together and starts belting some of these tires.

That would be a good investment for them as most of the 1/8th trucks these days are high powered brushless

Exactly my point. Especially if they are going to (of course they are going to) offer premounted combos.

I take it none of you E-Revo guys wouldn't be buying the premounted because you have to tape them?

You might get away with no tape on 4s if you arent doing speed runs. I have some of those new shockwaves and didnt tape and they arent too bad.

But no tape and 6s is certain doom for most tires if you are doing speed runs.

I have a set of HPI Phaltlines that darn near ripped them selves off the rim they pizza cut so bad in stock premount form. And they are supposed to be a big bad street tire.

Original Joes were just obscenely huge. Even on a Summit they looked too big.
Hoping these are down in size along with the Shockwaves. Maybe a bit more sidewall.

    Hence the name "Big Joe's"

If they were not insanely big they would have been called "your average everyday Joe's"
I'm just dissapointed that all of the new pro line 1/8 monster truck tires are the same, just a different tread pattern. nothing specifically designed for rock crawling, nothing extra big and showy, just regular " all terrain tires" in different tread patterns.

Kinda like having 6 pairs of the same Nike air Jordan, but in different colors.

Gotta at least have one pair of dress shoes and one pair of work boots.

Perhaps it is cross-trainers (new offerings) vs. clown shoes (Big Joes, obviously)?

That is one sloppy tire - will need serious taping. So its taller and narrower than the original - the reverse of what they did with the Trenchers. Here are the specs of Joe 1 vs Joe 2:

    Joe 1:
    Height: 6.39" (162mm)
    Width: 4.25" (108mm)

    Joe2:
    Height: 6.65" (169mm)
    Width: 3.85" (98mm)

Like I said same tires just different tread design, if you close one eye you could almost see the trencher X tire on that truck

I am guessing by how fast the driver ran after the erevo once it fell into the water that he is not running the MM2.

Ooooh, I think I am definitely getting a set of Big Joe II's for my future 6S Revo (once RCM hybrid diffs are released, that is).
