Very nice. I would also suggest some more bracing. Maybe get creative with some panels as well

Ok you guys have enticed me. What do you use as solder? are you hand bending the metal rods? Would one of those hand held propane torches work? I am about to update the Funky Gecko

by the way - It looks good.

I'm actually not soldering, I'm using a welder a Lincoln electric pro-mig welder and to bend the rods I'm use a brake line bending tool. I've already done some 5ft drops (just the cage) and its held up and along with some down hill tumbles and so far so good. Lol and yea that tire is pretty small but I thought the summit tire would just look ridiculous

What size steel are you using? How did you attach it to the chassis? Maybe some close up piccs.

I'm using 3/16 steel rod and I made the mounts from a 1" flat iron piece
Now I'm still not done so please don't judge me on my welds I still have to go back and grind them down for a smoother finish and add some cross braces and then ill paint it

Very nice work mate Do you think for what you're doing an oxy acetylene torch with braze or thin rods would work better?

I brazed mine with map gas/ oxygen mix
So oxy/acetylene should do just fine
