You can use any good quality ABS cement for the Spartan hull. Just not a PVC cement....

I use a two part Loctite plastic epoxy that comes in a side by side syringe that is available at most hardware stores. Use masking tape on the side of the hull to prevent glue from getting on the side where you do not want it. This epoxy sets up in 5 min.

Does the abs glue just bond, or does it fuse the plastics together? The plastruct bondene chemically reacts to chemically melt the plastics together. Just wondering.

    It fuses the plastics together.

Most abs cement/glue is black so use caution when applying.

You can also use acetone or MEK, but be cautious as these are extremely flammable.

They are all good for use in water. MEK and Acetone are clear but quite costly. ABS cement is black so you just may want to mask off any exposed area.

    That will work just fine.

Just mask off the area where you don't want the cement to discolor the hull or top section.

It may not be real pretty but as long as the two parts stay attached and the water stays out, that's what is important!

Good job and no one will notice as you go by.....
