Are Reedy or Hobby People lipo battery's any good?
I can only get venom and onyx where I am

Billybones don't you run some reedy lipos?
If so how do you like them?
Yes I do but I'm not sure if I can talk about them on the forums.
Lets just say their no slouch in the lipo world.
When I want top performance its them or spc, which we all know is about the best there is.

I like my spc 6500 50c but for some reason my venom 5000 25c has better punch for a portion of the pack

I went pretty cheap on the charger because I had to get into lipos altogether
IMHO I wish I bought a better charger

on your last cycle, run the truck for about 10 min, then check the voltage/cell on the charger. You will be near storage voltage. "adapt and overcome"-Clint Eastwood

I usually run it down then charge to 3.8v per cell

I just would like storage mode.. Means I can walk away for a bit without having to continually check..

I don't think we talked about this at the beginning of the thread, are you going to mess around with the steering (such as aluminum bellcranks) or leave it stock?

With aluminum just less slop and more responsive/precise steering.

Lets say you have no toe-in so your tires are straight up and down. When you take a turn, the g-force cause the tire to lift up a little on the inside, so your contact patch would be on one side of the tire. So we adjust it so the outside of the tire isn't in full contact with the ground so when you pull those g-forces, the pull causes the outside of the tire down to the ground so you have a full tire in contact with the ground. I hope this helps as it is not a very easy concept to explain because it is more of a concept to show.

    We went to Terry's..
    Bad news
So uh we didn't exactly go there we drove past and its not the most inviting
There's a small driveway which they also use for their house
It's also in the middle of no where

    Good news
On the way back me and my dad were talking
Then he told me that my track was still there

Last summer me and my 2 cousins made a track across the feild on my property
I used it quite a bit
I had large jumps and turns that we're angled (like NASCAR)
    Also had a long straight

    So apparently it's still there
I'm going to spruce it up when I get home and try it out
I'll be sure to get some before and after pics

Just went for a bash session with my dad
He went through 2 traxxas 3000mah Nimh 7 cell battery's
I went through 3/4 of my venom 5600 2s lipo

We raced in the big parking lot and even though he was faster I was smooth in the corners
I defiantly need to stiffen up the front shock fluid as my trucks leaning in a lot as I turn

Nvm my battery was actually only drained 1/2 way^^

Yea, if I were you I would upgrade the rear shock tower to STRC due to the easy breakage of stock and because of the adjustability the STRC has.

So... Nothing's happened at that track
    It's just in terrible shape

And... I still haven't made a trip to my LHS!😱
Its been over a month since ive been there..
But I'm just buying the Anza chassis and nothing else for now
Anyways I have to buy at least 3 parts for all my rc's so my next trip to my LHS, I'll walk out with a full bag of stuff
