    Tekin 1450kv with RX8 in XO1

How well would the Tekin 1450kv with RX8 work in the XO1? I was just wondering because I was thinking about putting it in the XO1 just to see how well it would do. Thanks for your advice in advance.

I don't think its a good idea, the motor is too small, eventhough it says its for a 1/8th scale, I wouldn't us it.

The motor he's talking about has a lower kv rating than the stocker. It should have decent torque and with the lighter weight of his system, it should be fine as long as he ensures everything doesn't get too hot.

The motor would be do fine. That motor is made to run truggies and monster trucks in the 12-16 pound range. A 10lb on road car with relatively tiny tires will still move.
Dont expect to run 100mph with it, but 70 would be very doable. as long as you can gear it appropriately.

Unless you require sensored, you would be better off with a larger can from a lesser known brand for the same money.
