wohooo, got my wing/wing mount and XO diffs in the mail today but, as for the XO diff, they only send me only one so, I e-mail them again about that. even though I only got one diff, its OK cause I have built one already so this one will complete it.

even though I started with some of my spare parts, this build still cost me over $300 so far and still have to buy just the Motor but its all good, its all part of this HOBBY lol. My wheels/tires are coming in the mail and it should be here by Tuesday or Wednesday.
this is how it standing now

also taped my inside part of the body with gorilla tape

Did you get the gorilla tape to blend with the contours with patience or heat?

I've done this with my previous REVO-E and its holding up real good that applies to my 1/8 GT8 car bodies too. body still flex which I like, I don't want to use anything that can make the body stiff and break when I flip it

Everything seems to sit lower on this nitro revo conversion.

If I had spare cash I would build up one of these.

got my ESC in the mail today, bought it here from our fellow RC'er hehehe.

in case your worried about the ESC wire getting chewed up by the gears, well its really far from getting touch.

I also have to trim a little bit on the body for the ESC mount hold to clear.

Although I've already said it in pm, I have to say "I like this build" again.

There are more than one brilliant ideas in this build: lowered battery case and beefy 2nd gear locking solution. Combining after-market gears is a genius idea. When I read that, I was like "man, how come I didn't think about that".

And I noticed that you are running a rear center steel drive shaft. Why do you want to run the steel shaft only in rear? Is rear shaft easier to break?

    Thanks,

rear center drive takes the most of the load when accelerating. I well then change my center front later on though.

I would tape down the ESC wire anyways. Nothing worse than it being "out of the way" and having it bounce up into the spur.
Had that happen once on my original conversion.

Truck looks amazing. love how it turned out.

didn't even get to run this truck yet and already replaced the center front driveshaft to a much better one lol. bought the revo extended drive cup for the CVD's and I have some spare dog bones that happens to be the right length.

I put some nitro fuel line at each ends inside the drive cups to keep it from sliding back and forth but with enough play.

Nice, can't wait to see how it runs.
what pinion and spur gear are you going to use, given that the transmission is geared up by the 34/22T steel gear?

what I like about this conversion is that you can use all four screws on the motor to the motor mount

    finished REVO-E
