    TQ not TQI

Why does the TQ need a longer antenna on the reciever than the TQI when they are both 2.4 ghz?

No idea, but why are you asking? You only need to leave the last 4 inches in a vertical position, everything else can go inside the receiver box...

Asking because my new 2wd slash kit has the TQ 2.4ghz and has a hole predrilled in the body and a long antenna and the TQI that came on my Stampede 4x4 is short and no hole is needed in the body

you probably got one of the RTR that was with an older radio and then TQ 2.4ghz came and they swap the old AM radio.

I have noticed the antenna hole in the 1/10 Revo bodies I buy too... for an antenna that does not even exist in either model anymore.

    EDIT:
    Maybe for nitro?
Those still come with AM I think...
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
