    can i break in my trx .15 engine in hot weather

    hi i live in Albuquerque new mexico and my engine is supposed to be here today but its 87 degrees outside yesterday it was 90 so its going to stay between 80 and 90 degrees can i safely break in my engine in this weather? thanks

    Better doing it in hot weather over cold actually...

    I'm in SoFla, 90 degree's at the race track and running all weekend long,,, not a problem....

    Tip for new engine starting... Preheat the block with a hair dryer till you can read over 110 degrees with your temp gauge at the glowplug, this will allow for a little expansion of the block,,, these new engines are very tight prior to break in...

    I've known a few guys overseas in the military racing them on their base in the big sandbox at 113 degrees... It's all in the tune.....

    Once broken in,,, read over this for tuning for performance... A good place to start.

    thanks i have very sandy weather here but i can tell you its awesome for sand bashing i could probably just leave my engine out in the sun instead of heating it with a hairdryer lol
