Is the integy heat sink fan temperature operated?

I just finished wiring up my truck with the new ESC, and Motor..
I have the integy heatsink fan wired in now as well.

    I have a y type connector.

ESC fan works in y connector, and straight in to ESC so i know the Y and the other cable are solid.

Integy fan lead doesnt work in either the ESC or the Y connector, which leads me to believe the fan is either broken or wont kick on until it reaches a certain temp.

Anyone know for sure? or does your integy kick on right away?

    thanks

If it doesn't work on either the Y or ESC make sure the two wires in the connectors are also connecting correctly on the Y connectors as for the ESC I believe it doesn't matter but I could be wrong. And you check them and are correct then it's an issue with the unit and it can be the fan motor/wiring. I've got one I'm not using and if you want it just pay for the shipping and ill send it to you.

They don't kick in with temperature, they should run as soon as there is power. I fancy a new Stampede ... jtalaue ... don't suppose you've got one of those knocking about too? ha ha ha

Make sure it's plugged into the connector the correct way.

I like the Tekin 30mm fans. They seem a little better than the ones that come with Integy heat sinks.

I know you can afford it but why buy a new one when you can send me $5 to ship it? I don't needing plus it's practically new because I upgraded my motor and couldn't make use of it and had 6 runs on it before I changed out the motor. Anyways whoever else is interested PM me just pay for shipping of $5.00
