Any plastic model builder's out there.

Thought id post a thread on my other time consuming hobby. I build 1/24-1/25th scale model cars, trucks, semi's, and tractor's by monogram, ertl, amt, jo-han, and mpc kits.
Here are a couple pics of my favorite models. I'm no pro model builder, but im ok, lol.

I have about 200 models built at the moment, and im not posting them all. hope you enjoyed looking at my other hobby, and by all means if you are a modeler yourself please share your builds if youd like.
I'm not krazy. My mother had me tested.

Its been a long time since Ive built any. My best one was probably a Mini Cooper. Im hoping to pickup a Nissan D21 pickup model some time then get a mini crawler and build a mini scaler.

I still like to build plastic models I'm 58 years old what I like to do is add lights to them with LED light
This is the Seaview from the 1960's TV series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

This is the Flying sub from the same series.

The Martian war machine from the 1953 movie The War of the Worlds

You can't see in the picture but the red light does flash.

Wow, these are all really awesome. I REALLY like the lit up ones. Where do you get your LED lights from? Do you wire them up yourself or do they come in kits?

The one for the The Martian war machine is a kit but you still have to wire it all up the rest I made my self.

You can count me in too.

I've been building them off and on for about 52 years and still have over 200 unfinished models sitting in my model room[aka the 4th bedroom]. Some over 25 years old and still not finished yet.

I'm a big fan of old school hot rods and modified muscle cars.

Don't have pictures right now but I have built a '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser, '33 Ford Roadster, and a Lamborghini Diablo (don't know what year). I'm building a 1968 Dodge Charger "General Lee".

I have been building models off and on for about thirty years. I usually do a few builds during the winter. I like to build trucks, muscle cars, and motorcycles. I really like to build the GP bikes, and anything interesting. I really like to combine model building and rc by combining plastic bodies and interiors with micro rc components. I even have an indoor rockcrawling course in my basement that provides entertainment when outdoor conditions aren't ideal.

Micro rc Hummer pulling my micro rc Hilux around.

    Lots of fun!

Old bodies end up as part of the terrain, too.

Occasionally, I take them outside, too.

A couple of my recent bike builds.

I found this Kenny Roberts figure at a hobby shop. Made in the mid-eighties, and nearly impossible to find. Big bucks on ebay to get one of these!

My next one will be a micro RC monster truck or a 6WD Mann truck.

I dont have any pics but i build 1/24 1/25 Drag slot cars. We use model bodies as the bodies. The track is 60 feet with a working bracket racing tree and sensors so you have to stage the cars. There are cars that do over 100mph in 60 feet. Not scaled, actual mph.
