    17mm Hexes on CC MM2 & 2200kv Motor

So I recently bought a CC MM2& 2200kv Motor and I know I've got to switch to 17mm ASAP. I found the tires and wheels I want which are Prolineracing trenches which is what ive got now but 12mm hexes while running on a 5000mah 3S 40C 11.1 volts gearing is 18 & 54T will the motor overheat with these bigger tires? I know it will get hot but if its too much heat issues I would rather stay on 12mm but I've seen tons of people saying you have to switch to 17mm with this combo. Let me know thank you.

the 17mm combo would be the best but people have run this setup with 12mm but you need to set the slipper just right and you should be all good but its down to how mad you are with the throttle dude but just keep the wheel nuts tightAnd the spc pack you are looking at will be sweet with the 2200kv with the 18t pinion...........peace

You dont want the 3.8 trenchers. They are way too big for the pede. For 17mm you need to get the 2.8 trenchers and modify some 3.2 wheels. There are a lot of threads here in 17mm wheels.

Can you refer me to a good 3.2 wheel base please? And since I've got the tranches already on desperado rims all I've got to do is in mount those wheels. Thanks
