I run 3S and 4S packs in my other vehicles, if I kept the Erevos, I'd have to purchase more 2S packs.

    Hey Zepher,

Wondered if you'd be able to tell me about the "pitch" of the pinion and spur gears. The output shaft on the 2200kv motor is thicker the the Traxxas VXL, so those pinions can work. But I see that the transmission has the stock 54T on it. I belive my spur is 17T. Is the pitch the same for this two ? I ask cuz I changed my pinion from a spare 65T I had and the mesh didnt smeen correct.

The stock eRevo gearing is Mod 0.8 (or 32 pitch) and the pinion must be for a 5mm shaft.

You can see in this link the difference between Mod 1 and Mod 0.8...post #104

Post #234 has an explanation on gearing

The pinion is the smaller gear and the spur the larger one...The slash gears are Mod 0.8 and I think the VXL you mention has a 3mm shaft.

Thought Id throw up an updated picture of the Revo. Been having a blast with it. Ive been running it 4s and 6s. Both are fun, the 6s is alot to handle and you have to be slow with the trigger lol. I was looking to get some road rage tires but my LHS had a set of stockers on the shelf as I picked them up for now. Also grabbed this black body and decided not to paint it. I like the transparent look. Still have yet to break a single part on this truck which is awesome
