what is up with the wire out the Rx box??

That is some serious preload on the springs.......

    Ride Height & Suspension Set~Up:
    My Bash set up:
P2 Rockers 80 wt Shock Fluid, Blue Rear Silver Front, inner hole.
I set the shock preload by pushing the chassis to the ground.
If the springs fully compress, back off the preload, if not fully compress increase the preload..
Will also give you a little more ride height..

    congrates on the new truck.......
Would you go flip my truck back over??

The guy had a DX3 connected to the truck. I bought it without an Tx/Rx and installed my TQi system. I also had to reverse my steering as this truck has an aftermarket servo. Easy to do, but confused the crap outta me at first.

The black motor is the stock traxxas branded one and the green is the castle branded one, he could have replaced the motor or it could have been a brushed truck and converted to a mamba.

So this truck wasnt available with the green motor from new then ? Huh, didnt know that. I knew the brushed/brushless were identical besides Motor/esc. The motor looks mint.

Huh, sellers will tell you anything you need to hear (not that he did or didnt) mention it. But its weird, was "told" truck had only been run a few times indoor. And it looks brand spankin new, barely a scratch. Weird.

Sure looks like new, only has different springs, cvds, tires and i also spot a single servo setup instead of dual servo.

Yeah it has a hobby town or something digital I think in it. Once I connected the Tqi to it, I had to reverse the steering signal to steer in the correct direction. It confused the crap outta me. Thanks Google lol. Once I get my new chassis (Im dying black), my new 2s and 3s lipos that I ordered today, I'll be installing all my original trucks PRM stuff. Selling my two others to fund the one monster.

WesleyK, can you confirm this is the 2200kv Motor ? Rated for 6s ? Is this a Mamba Monster Max ? or MM2 ? Or ? the motor does say 45,000 rpms on the face plate I think

Yep, looks like the 2200KV, but also could be a 2600KV, don't know how you can tell the difference, what else does the faceplate say?

Brushless motors are considerd waterproof, there is not much that can be damaged by water. ESC is not waterproof though, so you should either buy a mm2, waterproof it or get an shroud (which helps with making it splash proof, not waterproof)

Pull the motor off and look at the bottom edge next the back, it should have a printed part number and the kv.
We have 2 2650 motors an older one and a new one, newer one has it printed on the bottom edge and the older one is printed on the very back where your rpm number is.
We have a 3rd one coming today, and I'll check to see where the kv is on that one.

Good idea 87 GN. Never reall thought about that. I just got my new chassis (to rit dye) yesterday. I'll be doing that hopefully tonight. Also ordered (and received) (2) 3s 5000mah Venom and (2) 2s 5000mah Venom Lipos for this baby. Can wait to rebuild it and ya I'll turn the motor at that time. Question: Right now with these Flux HP wheels Im running, they ballon up too much and I wanna get more of a buggy wheel/tire for speed runs. Ive got (3) sets of wheels for offroad. Any recomendations ? Ive seen all white plastic rims I like.

Mine were pre mount and they are by proline. I've only ran the car once on 6s for a speed run and it was dark so I couldn't really tell if they ballooned a lot, but the car was stable and did 60mph.
I only run 3 and 4s in the trucks since that is fast enough for these vehicles for me, 40-48mph on 4s with 18/40 and 21/40 mod1 gears.

The 60mph run was actually done with my yellow erevo with a tekin 2000kv motor with 18/38 gearing.

That wheel set up looks sweet. Might look into those. I only tried mine on 6s for a few min, but I think I need to tighten up my slipper and it squeeked alot. When I bought the (3) 3s lipo I also got (2) 2s in case I prefer that so I can run 2s,3s,4s or 6s I was able to get somemore work done last night on the truck. Heres a few pics for ya's

Rit Dye all ready out in the shop

    All dyed and drying off

Stripped down and making the transfer

All RPM A-Arms install as well as bearing carriers

Looking good. I even rembered the pivot links for the shocks this time to dye

87 GN - I wasnt able to rotate the motor as one of its screws were to tight and it stripped slightly on me, so the wires are still upright for now, but I will fix it. Gonna order a new body and prob those proline road rage wheels and be ready to rip

Did you dye both chassis? I bought a spare and just decided to dye both since i had the dye and the erevo would have to be dismantled, then decided to build another erevo a week later since I had this nice black chassis.

I dyed the rockers as well,

No I kept it as a spare for now. I should have dyed I guess while I was at it. That project brushed truck above hit a curb and snapped the chassis in half lol

I ran in the middle for general purpose and the holes closest to the wheels for onroad.
I didn't care for the really high ride height and extended travel of the innermost holes.

Also, my settings may not be the same as yours since my pushrods may be shorter than yours, I have no spacers on mine and you have the blue spacers.
I don't have the erevos anymore, sold the red one to friend who really really wanted it and then traded the yellow one as a roller for an hpi trophy truggy roller along with a subwoofer for my Silverado.

Alright, thanks for the input. Too bad you sold them, there sweet trucks. Got a chance last night to do some serious speed runs on 6s. It was fun. I had it pretty much topped out and one of my tires ballooned like crazy and started to pull the truck toward the curb, I tried to gentley correct it but i lost er. Darn thing must of cartwheeled 20-30 times down the road . It was pretty funny. Barely a scratch on er, just popped one of the pillow balls. 2-3 min later we were motoring again

The main reason I sold them was I didn't want to break them and the second was the dual battery.
I got a lot of enjoyment from building them, as both were built from scratch.
I prefer to have one battery run the vehicle. The only vehicles I don't mind having 2 batteries are my 2 summits.
I can run a summit on my pair of 8.2a batteries till I get bored driving.
My buggy's, Truggy, and slashes all use 1 battery.
