    Black rims?

Does anybody know of any decent looking all black wheels for the slayer? I'm painting the body flat black and would like the wheels to match.

Why not just paint the wheels? I didnt like the fake chrome on mine so i painted them, has held up well

You could "Easy Off" the chrome. I just did the easy off trick to my summit wheels and they came out great!

These are the rims and tire package on a SC8 truck. They are 17mm hex tho, but I run +12mm 17mm hexes. And they are not true beadlocks, just there for looks.

These new 12mm hexes from Traxxas may work on a Slayer since you should have a 6mm axle shaft,

The above adapters are normally used on a Slash 4x4/Rally/Stampede 4x4 when using the XO-1 Axles which are 6mm.

this will allow you to use pretty much any SC wheel out there since most of them are 12mm.

so this was the look I was originally going with.. chrome came off pretty easy

And yes the 12mm hexes do fit. Heres my truck on the 2.8 Trenchers and desperado wheels

Looks pretty mean with those trenchers on there! How does the truck handle with them?
