Cool New shoes for my XL2 powered XO-1!

I decided to try out the white dish wheels and I like how they look! Now, to do something about the blue hexes....

I like the XO-1 dish wheels. I had a black set before I lost my mind and sold everything. The white ones look good on your car.

Thanks man! Probably gonna deanodize the hexes and reanodize them red.

Meh, just slap a circular white sticker on there and go for a "futurecar" look.

Where are you talking about slapping said sticker?

I'll try and put one on my car in a few minutes.

They work on the axle but the offset is different so the wheels are going to sit almost 1/2" inwards.
I don't have an xo-1 so I don't know how that will work on your car. I have xo-1 axles and c-hubs on my slash and that is what I tested the adaptor with.

May have to just go with original plan and re anodize yours.

Well that sucks. Sure would have been a lot easier than reanodizing.

I found a solution for the blue hex nuts without having to de-anodize and re-anodize them. I found some red 17mm hex nuts that are a cap as well. So, I will use the existing inner hex pieces and the cap nuts. Should be pretty sweet. I'll post pics when I get them in.

I hope they fit. I thought about that, but hopefully I won't have any issues.

Well, got the hex nuts today and they don't fit. However, they do fit my hot racing 17mm adapters that I'm using on my 2wd XO-1. So, I'll probably just use them on that one. I know Traxxas makes red hexes for the erevo but they don't have a part number for just the nuts. Gonna call them Monday to see if I can get just the nuts directly from them.

I did the same thing too when I lost one of my traxxas 17mm nut and LHS didn't have a replacement atm, so I ask them if I can use other brand, turns out to be a little different threading.

Well, I took the gamble and they don't fit the Traxxas hexes, but they do fit my Hot Racing hexes. So, I'll just use them on the 2wd XO-1. They look better than the blue.

Well, I called Traxxas and they do not sell the hex nuts separately. What a bummer. So, if anyone buys the set for say an e-revo and need to replace just the nuts, they are out of luck. They will have to buy another complete set. The guy did say he would bring this up in their next meeting.
