    options for old servos

So I replaced my stock servo in one of my rigs and it only had some stripped teeth. Well that got me thinking that it'd be a good donor to try and make a little winch out of it to put on a crawler or even on a trailer...

If anyone has done anything like this, Id love to see some pics or hear some ideas!

I'm no sure if it's possible to make a winch servo out of a plain 120 degree servo, If you can make it continous turning somehow that'll be cool. Other options would be, use the board and make lights or horn set up.
Problems. The manual's good starting point. Simple

I've seen people use 1/10 scale servos attached to an arm on 1/16 scale trucks to flip them back over.

Yea I just saw that in the MERV forum other day. Looked like a pretty sweet set-up! That'd def be nice option to have sometimes...lol..

Might have to tear my old one down some more and maybe just trying to run wires straight to the motor. And run it off a miniture three position switch. Prob won't last long but worth a try.

Yeah, you can make a servo winch out of it, here is a how-to video:
