    USB charging from a LiPo?

Just a random idea popped into my head while at the airport.

Could someone (or does someone already) make a small device that would connect to the TRX connector on a 2S or 3S lipo and convert it to a USB outlet to charge a cell phone? I'm traveling with a couple RC lipos this trip and my phone was getting low.
What broke, uh, needs upgrading now?

Looks like you could make one:

The things you could add to it is a CC BEC set at 5VDC and a blinky lipo cut off. I haven't done the math, but a 2S 5000mha battery discharged at 500mv would likely last quite a while.

It would be quite easy to build one... and wouldn't cost more than $10; not including shipping of parts of course. lol

All you would need is a USB cord to modify, a voltage regulator that takes LiPo voltage down to 5 volts, and a voltage alarm of some sort to monitor the LiPo pack.
Whatever it is I just typed... could be wrong.

Well, thanks for the answers, both on how to build one and on where a premade one can be bought.

I got one with an XT-60 plug for 2s lipos, I'm happy I have it you could use a big 5000mah lipo inside a back pack for extended gopro use. If you look at the back up cell phone chargers sold in stores they're 2-4000mah and they're like $50.

Even better... all the electronic work is in the plug-in>USB adapter.
