Nostopin got some footage I hope lol
I lost low gear very early did the whole thing in hi gear.Did it get hot?Yes very very hot.It didn't read on my temp gun
    hot.
esc was close to 200 I stopped instantly to let it cool down.i could not even touch the dewalt I needed a break anyways. This is the toughest climb I have done to date.
Bring the gopro next time it's only 15 minutes or so away from me its a tough and a bit dangerous climb just hiking it.

What goes most of the way up the rock face, turns out can come down much quicker and harder.just stoved it into a rock after the free fall.lol it was only 15 feet or so.Just landed perfect or in this case painfully lol.it did its job nothing else broken, for a change lol

Both sets of my 8200 spc lipo lots of stopping its crazy steep in spots so it can take a few tries to get up stuff.i had to carry a few times while the truck cooled down and it was too precarious
To do it in hi gear not enough control in a few spots.crawling the way we do it I get close to 3 hours a set. These packs are under rated, they have to be.No complaints from me.

Im in Nanaimo area so shoot me a pm next time you plan a run and ill scoot down and intruduce my summit to your summits. Lol. Id also like to pick your guys' brain about your suspension/gearing setups if you have time?

That looks like a lot of fun.......I'm working on some of my buddies to dump the Nitro and buy a Summit, then we could do stuff like this too.

And 15'.....looks like the cage did exactly what is was supposed to do. LOL!!!!

Like I say to anyone who is interested in my Summits - "They will work you harder than you can work them". I keep thinking Traxxas should advertise these Summits as an aid in your exercise regime. I have gone out as far as 5 miles and back and was focused on the Summit and didnt realize how much exercise I had gotten (until the next morning). Nice Piccs, looks like a fun area to run the Summit's. Thanks for sharing.

It’s amazing how long a set of these SPC 8200’s will last in a Summit…….when you’re crawling. I can put this exact same set in my erbe and run less than half the time.

It’s not uncommon for me to run out of play time before my batt’s do. LOL!

I'm jealous. We do not have areas like that around here. (Dallas, TX) We've got parks and things of course but very limited real "crawling" opportunities.

Looks like you had a good deal of fun, we have a few areas like that here in Washington since Mt. Rainier is less than 2hrs away. I'm running the same batteries as you and I love them. My gearing is 11t/72t and it gives me a crazy low and decent high gear, but I'm using brushless too. The best part of it is I have so much torque at the wheels that you almost don't hear the motor bog down when crawling.
