You might want to ask a more specific question. You'd get better answers.

At first I would recommend going slow to get used to it, then go fast!! Make sure to break something, that's the fun in it

    ^^^^ said that!

It may be best to go to a race without your truck and see how everything works. Get out on the track and be a turn marshal. Its amazing how much you can learn while marshaling.

If your short on cha-ching, pack a lunch. Take every spare part you have. This could save you from spending money at the track. But if you go in blind(not knowing what tires and setup is needed for a track), expect to have a rough day. Call ahead and find out the rules so you dont show up with an illegal truck. You may also get a knowledgeable person on the phone who is not a race snob that will help you out with setup over the phone.

It's been my experience no matter what you bring, you will end up needing the one thing you forget.
But with a little luck some one else there will have and let you barrow it
The one thing you don't have to bring,is the fun

Hope you have as much as you can.

Go slow and try to drive laps without flipping or driving off the road. Then go a little faster the next day.

Ask what tires the other guys use and buy them.
