What could cause steering servos to turn slowly?

Am in the process of a major rebuild, after braking my chassis. The servos are in only turn about half speed. This is my first r/c with dual servos.

Low battery voltage, binding somewhere, dirt and grime. Dead servo on one side.

Have u disconnected them one at a time and tested?

I made this same mistake the first time I took my truck apart... I loosened them off so they was just a minimal amount of freeplay then it was all good.
