    Wink break in

    sorry for the dumn question but i just ordered the jato and it is coming Wednesday. but my question is if i have to take it through the break in process?

    After you follow all break in instructions, buy a losi 3.4 carb for it. Your going to eventually need it anyway, IMO.

    The best break-in process is to do a heat cycle before you let it run on the ground. Heat cycle means put your jato on the table. Start it in very rich mixture. Use quick burst (no high rpm) while using a heat gun on the cylinder head until it reaches 200 deg. then stop the engine until it completely cools-off to room temp. Do that 6 times then do your normal break-in process! I hope this post is not too late. Good luck!
