    summit waterproof and towing

Hey guys just wondering is the 1/16 summit vxl 100% waterproof or not (I heard there is a problem with the batteries getting wet)
Is it bad to tow with this car or can it cope. ( I was thinking an rc boat)

    Thx in advance

If you want to submerge it, you better stick to a boat. It can handle quite some water tho.
Towing a boat doesn't seem like a problem to me, since it has power enough.

    Somewhat, yes.
Maintenance after a wet run is quite involved... just so that you know.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

    Everything would rust even faster.

Just because it is waterproof does not mean that it is supposed to be played with in the water... it also does not mean that there is no maintenance after the wet run.
