    Really hot motor

My motor is very hot after a run. After almost 5 seconds of touching it I can't because its too hot. I have 18/58 gearing. Why's my motor running so hot?

Can be too big tires, hot weather or tough driving conditions like loose sand. Tell us some more about your siuation. Also try to get a temp gun so you can actually measure temps.

Purchase a temp gun from home depot for $20. Run your car again for the same amount of time and check temp.
Reason why, Is because for awhile I thought the engine was burning and getting too hot. But then I bought a temp gun only to find temps were only in the 135 degree range. Which is very safe range.

Get an actual temperature reading from it, then report back. I thought mine was way too hot, but it was actually at 140, which is perfectly acceptable.
I reject your reality and substitute my own!

I just ran it for what seemed to be about the same amount of time. I got a reading of 140 degrees.

5s to touch is not too bad...it probably puts you up around the to 66C mark. Get a temp gun or a racetemp gauge which it what I have...post #99

keep an eye on temps and maybe try running 20/54 if 6s or 21/54 for 4s.
    Rock n Rolla !
