Oops, thought you said wheels. But the kit below gives you the traxxas 17mm hex. XO-1 hexes won't work due the difference in shaft sizes, 5mm on the rustler vs 6mm on the XO-1.

    Buy this kit,

Can you use the 17mm hexes off an E-Revo or Summit?

not if he wants to run Traxxas E-Revo wheels, they don't have a normal 17mm hex hole.

I have the Hot Racing ones.. All you have to do is pop off the 12 hex, leave the pin in and slide the HR ones on and use the little tool they send with the kit to secure the nut on the inside of the hex.. Might need a smaller wheel nut though.. I have those on my rustler and they work great.. I had planned on using them on my slash but I had 6mm stub axles on it and they didn't fit.. HR 17mm hexes are perfect for the 5mm stub axles...

The form of the hex doesn't has anything to do with it. It will fit any 17mm adapter.

I'm talking abut the hex itself. The erevo wheels are not a flat 6 sided hex, they are keyed.

The Revo tires are waaayy too big for a Rusty. Why not go with the TRX 17mm's mentioned above and get a set of 1/8 buggy tires? They look cool on a Rustler.

Plus there are a TON of 1/8 scale buggy wheel tire combos out there and they are all relatively inexpensive.. I have a set of 1/8 buggy wheels with proline road rage tires on my rusty... Looks awesome.. Just as big as stock, just not as wide...

Zepher, does the tire offset matter? I'm looking at putting some 1/8 buggy tires on my Bandit and wonder if I can use the same wheels on all four corners?

I purchased some 17mm adapters from RC monster, they fit over the 12mm hex and actually press into the wheel. Then the outside nut goes on (With a set screw inside that can not fall out.) that stops the outer nut from loosening up.
I have a rustler but I would imagine that the bandit would be the same in regards to the wheel offset, (I know the Bandit has a narrower wheel track.)I use 1/8 buggy wheels all around, same offset.

The Bandit doesn't use the 12mm hexes, just pins. It's a pin that way, but I'll look into that.

Dalep, If you use those traxxas adapters, it makes the front and rear offset the same so you can use the same offset wheels on all 4 corners.
You might have to get rustler front axles, I can't remember if the bandit axles are long enough to bolt the front adapters on.

I also have rustler front and rear arms on my bandit, along with slash 4x4 rear axles.
You also need rustler camber links and toe links when going with the arms.

Thanks Zepher, looking at your Bandit again, I will probably need to go with at least wider rear a-arms, the standard one (er rpm ones at least) allow the springs to just clear Dirt Hawks mounted on Traxxas dish wheels.

I'm almost done compiling a video of my bashing, hopefully done tonight.
