    Rear axle carriers

I just broke a rear axle carrier and I think will upgrade them. Would you guys suggest rpm or the traxxas aluminum ones?

STRC or the Traxxas are the way to go.

I wish I had went with aluminum from the start. I went through a few stock ones and cracked an rpm one in half.

So is there any difference between the STRC and the Traxxas ones?

Besides that STRC makes silver/gunmetal and Traxxas does not. Not really.

I don't use RPM for my bearing carriers because they're too soft.

    They both have excellent reputations.

You can check asiatees for knock-offs. I've found that China-stole-China-made aluminum parts are OK, if you get the solid, non-moving components. Shock towers - yes, axles carriers - yes. Toe and camber links - no. Shocks - no, no, no, no. Steering components - OH, H**L NO! If it moves, it will fall apart.
