Stupid pivot ball caps become loose every day!

Every single time I take my E-revo out I have to tighten the ft pivot ball caps as they loosen about half a turn. Any way to stop these from loosening? When they loosen they add significant slop to the ft...which ive just ordered the HPP wheel hubs..im determined to get this thing running straight and slop free!
Are there upgraded knuckles I should be looking at?

I should have mentioned that I already did this. It didnt help whatsoever. Maybe I could try using more, but it really didnt even seem to help a little.

When wrapped enough Teflon tape will work well.
Tekno carriers would another alternative, or you could mod the stock carrier with a grub screw to hold the caps in place. Simple as drilling the carrier, and screwing in a grub screw for a permanent fix.

    No slipper/tall gearing/power = broken parts.

Drill out a hole and put a set screw in there to hold the cap. I actually got sick of my teflon tape not holding the cap and started this mod last night. Very easy.

Golden horizon or GPM racing has pillow ball caps with a o-ring, these might work for you?

If you’re using the supplied grub screws to lock the caps, I don’t see how that’s possible.

I usually find when the pillowball caps are coming unscrewed that the area that houses the pillowballs is getting pretty worn, and so are other areas of the knuckle...

Before spending time on them look at the area where the pillowball threaded stud comes out, see if it looks worn enough that the pillowball may pop out.... If it is I'd just replace the axle carriers/knuckles...

Otherwise teflon tape worked fine for me.
