    Parma Grave Digger

What are some front bumper options for the Summit? I'm in the process of fitting a 1/8 scale Parma Grave Digger body on my Summit and the Original bumper looks out of place. Tried a couple different designs, cutting down the ends. The Ridge-line narrow bumper from Pro-line looks near identical to the Summit bumper, and unsure if the RPM Revo bumper will fit. 1/1 Grave Digger has no front bumper, but with My three year old son driving it's a necessity. Thanks.

that's a pretty cool body .. It looks like it's pretty close to the stock dimensions. Does it fit well? Can you post up a picture.

I wanna say that the rpm revo bumper would fit .... You may need to get the RPM bumper mount as well

I need to read up on how to post a pic, I have a couple on my iPhone. 1/8 scale body fits just about perfect. I have the black prepainted body. Probably wouldn't go that route again. The instructions say they paint using water based paint, and to apply an acrylic based paint cover coat if it is going to be used in wet conditions or cleaned with water. ??? Anyway, aside from that it's super cool and fits the wheel base really well. As far as bumpers, i figure i'll flip the bumper mount upside down, trim the skid plate just above the "TRX" and the bumper should be about perfect height. Plus I bought a red "headlight only" kit from rc-lights.com.

Download the photobucket app .. Create an account and upload your pics through that. ... Then you can just copy and paste the .img URL into your typing and the picture will show up when you post

I think you're on to something with flipping the bumper mount..should look awesome

Really strange that they painted it the way they did .... Be best to get the clear one then

Have some Green bead protector rings and center hubs on order. I think I'm going with chrome, instead of the black. Making some slow progress.

I think once you get the green hubs and rings on there, the black rims will look sick!

Here is a pic update. Lots of decals for this body so it's slow
going. Plus I'm working on the LED headlights.

Still waiting on the green bead protectors,
installed the green hubs. I ripped a decal trying to stretch
It over the fender. The guys at Parma are really cool.
They sent me another set. .

Hooked up the "headlights only" kit from rc-lights.com.
One L.E.D is brighter than the other. Checked my connections
And wiring, definitely a prob with the "bulb". Hopefully rc-light
    Will help me out.

Didn't know about those. Wish I would have found that
light set first. Traxxas always has the best stuff out there.
Plus Traxxas customer service is amazing! A little annoyed
with myself I didn't Check Traxxas first. Checking stock and
ordering. Thanks Maxi. Rc-lights is sending out a new l e d and
    wire

Can you take a side picture of the body? Been looking at this body but in the stock pictures the graphics look a little off compared to the traxxas grave digger body

There are side pictures in the first few posts!

If you wanted to, it looks like you can still use those light buckets from the Traxxas light kit!

There is no comparison between the Traxxas and Parma GDs in terms of quality, fit and finish, the Traxxas's 'flames' are screen printed and the side decals are much more vibrant colors... however the Traxxas is way to small to fit the Summit or even Slash, it's a tiny body compared to the Parma.

The decals are a little difficult to put on. I haven't seen the
Traxxas version to make a comparison of decal quality. These
are pretty good considering how big they are. I think the flames
would have turned out better if they were printed out in larger
pieces though. I'll get a close up of the side panels tonight.

They are big, cumbersome, and practically useless but there is no better use for Jumbo Kong tires than a Grave Digger set up

Noir that is AWESOME! Good job on the decals. My set didn't line up very nicely, lots of trimming was involved. The fenders didn't turn out so good. I'll post up pic tonight.
