    Brushed Motor

I am deployed and bought a brand new traxxas slash 2wd online and had it shipped here, the first day i ran my car i lost 50% of the power, gave it a god look over after running it and the brush carrier had broken.
i ran it till it the brush broke out of there and ordered velineon brushless.
One of the other guys bought a 2wd slash off a guy here and same thing brush carrier broke,we found someone to repair it but it keeps happening over and over, sand kills brushed motors

First off,Thank you for your service.
Sand is hard on things, but the titans are not known for a long life, but a day is aw-fall short,If you ever deal with brushed again, try breaking it in,in a glass of water.
If you have a way to deal with traxxas,I'm sure they will replace the motor for you, they are very good about that.

My friend threw a bunch of sand in an old Titan 12t and put it in his truck. It sounded like it was going to explode into hundreds of pieces. And all the brushes broke almost instantly.
