    Stripped screw advice?

Hey guys, this screw just stripped while I was attempting to convert back to Slash from Rally Any advice on how I should proceed with it? Just drill it out?

    THANKS!

Try using a star tool if you have one small enough, ive gotten out many stripped screws that way

    1) With a dremel and a small cutting disk, make a slot and use a flat screw driver to remove it...

    2) Use a strong plier to unscrew it...

just find a size that will fit in the screw. this is the tool if you dont know what it is, turn slowly and it should grip onto whatever lips are left

Maybe some needlenose pliers and just spin it and hold onto the top of the screw? Wouldn't hurt to try...

I agree with using a dremel tool and cut a slot in the top of the screw. Then you can use a flat head screw driver.

And I've used wire cutters.. Hold them above the screw and clamp to the sides if they have good edges they'll dig in and bring it right out... Or get a small flat head srew driver that wont quite fit in the hole hammer it in and turn it out..

If you don't have a dremel you could remove the sway bar and cut the end of the bumper off.

J/K, No seriously you could cut a slot in the screw with a hacksaw.
    Traxxas gone bye bye!

+1 on the dremel tool, i've done it more than once. And IF you don't have a dremel tool, a saw with a blade for cutting metal, is your best bet!
