Set up tips for paved local track?

Anyone got any set up tips? I was thinking of starting off with 1000 weight oil for the shocks, my block is bone stock otherwise.

    1000 weight?
I hope you meant 100 weight.

I'd think that a thinner weight oil would allow the suspension to react a little faster.
I know you want a thicker oil for an off road car...but I would think you'd want the suspension to be faster reacting on an on road course.(might be wrong)

I mean 1000, I just put it in today, but have not gone on a track yet, on the street, seems better already

I went with adjustable toe links & push rods, HPI X-Patterns, and HR shock bodies with the HR sway bar kit. I'm running 70WT oil in the shocks, also using a ctr diff. Handles great on pavement.

Same setup on my BOSS 302 except with the TRX GTR Aluminum shock bodies, and HPI slicks.

Those are Integy. They're about a year old. I think they sell an upgraded set now.
