    motor upgrade?

so ive got the e maxx 3903 model and im looking to go brushless. but ive pondered the ideas of the castle creations monster 2, a sensored system from either hobbywing or tekin. ive also thought about running 2 brushless 380 from the 1/16 line. what yall think would be the better route?

You would absolutely destroy the 380's.... even a 1/10th scale system in tandem is pushing it. Go 1/8th scale! Put a cheap-o setup in my buddies max and he could not be happier... 150 amp ESC and 2650kv motor.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Ya, Hobbywing combos run amazing, and are waterproof and cheap.

If you want to go 5 or 6s lipo, the 150A ESC is the idea, if you want to stick with 4s, then the 120A can save you some money.

150A combo is $190 on hobbypartz
    Doublethink: 2+2=4 while 2+2=0
