    e-revo batteries

i was wondering what batteries i should get for the e-revo brushless. 6s surely destroys tons of parts. which are them. id like to have a list of most probable pieces to break (out of the box). would 5s (or 4s) destroy as much.

    thx a lot!

might wait & break it then see if you need or want to upgrade.
I would get a spare set of diffs & shims, other than that.....not much..jm2c

That would be a good idea depending on how hard you bash!
I invested in stock type diffs - stock ring& pinions cases and cups even robinson racing gears and kept breaking. Now I have a pile of it after going with the losi mod

Try to stick with stock diffs if they hold up for you and stock ring and pinions
HR makes a nice diff cup http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...RVO11X06;c=431
Strc makes a good case http://www.teamstrc.com/index.php?ro...product_id=207
    Kyosho on shims(only part numbers I have)6mm 096046 8mm 096644 10mm 096647

How do you run 5s with 2s and 3s? A 3s and 2s in series? Is that ok to do? I'm just learning but I thought you're suppose to always run equal packs regardless of series or parallel?

also number of cycles & brand. The only reason I don't run 5s is charging, you can not charge a 2s & 3s in parallel
    you can in series.
