    I'd think you would need a 1/8 scale single axle in order for it to hold up to the large motor(s)

    If you're ambitious, I'm sure a custom link set could be fabricated. Part of the problem would be to free up the area where the front and rear bulkheads are but still maintain shock mounts, body posts and bumper mounts.

    Actually , Its very simple and quite cheap. I just turned an E Maxx I got from Ebay into a proper....OK very large, proper crawler. Cost in total 40 GBP.
    I used the Traxxas diff lockers and the rest is just about home made.
    Here are some pics.












    I have since changed the link set up on the front as I am using a 1/4 scale servo. So basically all I did was substitute the shocks for solid rod.

    I did not think of removing the suspension completely...
    Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.
