    Mini Slash Wheels

Hey guys, I am looking into getting new wheels and tires for my mini slash. I tried the ProLine Dirt Hawg mounted on Desperado wheels but they wouldn't fit the wheel well of the stock body and I really don't want to trim the body. I really like the look of the desperado wheels so if you could help me find similar wheels and tires for the slash that would be great. Thanks in advance.

These are wheels for the merv, but I think that they would be ok on a slash. They are the jconcepts goosebumps mounted on relux wheels. Im not sure if they would fit onto the mini slash though.....

I am thinking about getting the jconcepts truth body but the wheels would still be too wide.

Actually, does anyone know if MERV bodies fit the slash cause I am digging this body (Even though I'm a Chevy guy) and if I use it I could still use my Desperados?http://prolineracing.com/bodies/ford...ar-body-16revo(I would probably find some chevy stickers for it instead of the ford ones.)

You may need to swap out the body mounts/posts, but yes it will fit.
All 16ths parts are really interchangeable as they are all based off from the same platform.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Also, for the Raptor body, does anyone know about chevy silverado or logo stickers that would be a good fit for the grill spot on the body because I couldn't stand to look at a ford grill when I bash?

Duratrax vendetta pin tires would fit but you will need wheel extenders. There isn't enough clearance for the tiny rims to go around the front suspension parts if you try turning.

Yea but the desperado wheels are fine I think.

Also, because of the short a-arms and pushrods, would the desperados brush against the body when I turn since both the wheels and body are meant for the MERVs length pushrods?

Because it looks almost like there isn't much room if the a arms were shorter and the are on the slash

Although pic #111 on p.3 of the 1/16 photo gallery leads me lo believe that it would be okay

So I just did the measurements and I will need wheel extenders to be able to have the dirt hawgs because if I don't the would grind against the body because of the enlarged diameter. Any suggestions?

    1071-11 is the part number.

I'm looking for a wheel/tire combo with a 3" diameter and any width. The 3" diameter would just barely miss the chassis but worse comes to worse I can shave a bit off of the chassis.

They are the price per two tire/wheels so you'll need to buy two sets and yes the tires will clear an untrimmed bodies fenders

The tires are all mounted and once again I changed my mind about the body. I got a prographix body and hopefully I'll finish painting it by this afternoon if the wind dies down
