    Pinion stuck

    I have my pinion gear on my Titan motor can't get it off any suggestions

    will it not slide off or will the set screw not move?

    I have loosened stuck set screws by heating up the pinion with a lighter before... as long as the screw is not stripped, it should work.

    As long as you have the correct size hex and a quality driver/wrench, There shouldn't be a problem. Unless you stripped the hex? May wanna try heating the grub/pinion area.

    if you dare to you could drill the set screw out but you could damage the pinion of the motor shaft.

    Solution = go brushless and get a bigger pinion.
