    2650KV motor in e revo

Does the 2650kv motor work well in the e revo with 4s? I want more speed but without going 6s because i don't want everything to break. And castle is having a sale for their mamba monster combos. Is the mamba monster V1 going to have problems because i read people had problems with them

You could use the torque of the 2200kv to go a bit taller with the gearing?

The 2650 is more of a buggy motor for lighter vehicles but a few have gotten away with it

I personally would go for the 2200kv castle motor and running 4s correctly geared, starting of 20/54 and see how you go...I have a MM V1 and have no issues whatsoever.

I actually prefer the 2650 over the 2200. the 2200 rips up diffs and driveshafts...never had an issue with the 2650. it's very fast on 4S, and I usually run/bash mine on 4-5S. no temp issues geared 54/20.
