    Picked Up a Erevo

Sorry Repost, I posted in the wrong section before.

What did I buy here ? Pics
Well I picked up this E-Revo this weekend. I ended up trading a slash 4X4 for it. Kept my TQi Tx/Rx and my ESC. Always wanted a full size Erevo as I already have a MERV. So tell me what I got here ??? I can see this was a brushed version (I think) at one point running dual brushed motors. It now has as shown a 1/10 VXL (same as my slash had). I plan on getting a new chassis and dying it black (same as my MERV) and a bunch of other RPM upgrades. Motor / ESC combo when cash permits.

Question, is this motor strong enough for this size ??? Ya I know watch temps, gearing etc. What do you guys think ? Yes I know it has "other" wheels and body for now.

That system will not last at all unless you gear it like 10/68 on 3s and it will go like 10 mph and still prolly overheat

as in your other thread. google castle creations. browse there clearance sale. mmm/2200, or mmm/2650 combos 215 dollars each. then buy a outerwares cover. you cant go wrong with this. honestly id like to hold off on the mm2 untill all the new bugs are worked out. i have read some new threads of the mm2 catching fire.

i hear you on this. im thinking i shouldnt have bought a brushed e-revo project. when i have a summit that i could have went sensored brushless. but my compulsion to own another rc over whelmed me, lol.

Once you run it you will put the other trucks aside.

I seem to run the smaller cars more than my e revo, so I sold it the other night, but had another one I was building, lol.

Keep it & keep the Summit too..................

I walk the dog's with the Summit, when they start digging & messing around I like the crawl. When I want a good bash I break out the Revo, now with URTOAST if the weather gets nice... little street bash'n. When my buddy brings over his 5B, I break out the 5ive......you can't ever have to many truck........

    PM coming......
Would you go flip my truck back over??

Thanks for the PM 87 Grand. Ive been looking all over for the best price. Gonna check my LHS too. I just ordered a ton of stuff for this Erevo from Tower hobbies. Im gonna take my time with this build, as I enjoy working on them as much as fixing them . Ill post pictures of my build on here. First is chassis dye whicih will be done in a week or two when parts arrive.

Just sell the motor and esc on the marketplace or ebay and put what you get for it towards a mamba system
