Does it hurt the esc to change from lvd on and lvd off to run on NIMH then lipo?

Hi all, I don't have 4 lipos so I don't have many packs to run so I alternate between lipos that I have (2 only means 1 run) and the 2 NIMHs that are included.

    Thanks,
    Spence😊

like jamann said.....but with the lipos you might find it a little undergeared if its geared for nimh's

The motor and esc still run really hot on standard gearing even with NIMH also with lipo

Even with the 14t pinion all stock

    Define "really hot"
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Unless you don't have a temp gun you can't really make a meaningful statement about the temps dude

I ran my Stock Brushed Combo on 5s a couple of times before going brushless and temps stayed in range with stock gearing.

So 4s should be absolutely no problem

I got a temp gun✔️haven't checked the temps yet will do it today
Like hot enough to make you take your hand away really fast and say "ouch"

    Oddly here are the temps
To the touch the esc felt much hotter the last time I ran it
    Esc:105 deg F
    Motor: 134 deg F

That is oddly in the healthy range for most electronics but I have hand the vxl-3s on my rusty burn me and the esc on the EVX-2 burn me too. I didn't get burned but if I were to hold my finger on there for long enough I would have gotten burned
