    Question Crystals

    Hello all,

This may be a very stupid question that i should know the answer to, but im going to ask anyway. My brother recently got a traxxas slash ans we were going to race, but the trucks freaked out and our remotes wouldn't work. I looked it up and i need new crystals so the trucks wont interfere right? so they are easy to find, but does it matter which color? I have a traxxas TQ remote...

    Thanks!!

Hey, LOL just get the color that isn't they same as his! Easy fix! So if he has yellow. You get red. For your Transmitter and Car!

Yeah but its going to be well worth it. I have heard 72mhz is better and you'd get better range but i never had any experience with it. So if i was in your situation i would probably just pick up 2 to 3 Crystal depending on the price, just in case people have the same channel as you but i high doubt it because most people at the track have 2.4ghz

That's correct. A unique frequency is built into every system. Go for it!
Make it idiot-proof and along comes a better idiot

You can get a complete Traxxas 2.4 radio and receiver for $35-45 shipped.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

A quick eBay search found me these:
