    Track Day Tommorow :)

Hopefully this time I will be able to race the 2WD league. First time so I'm a bit nervous
Currently running the 18T Pinion with 56T Spur. Then maybe switch out to the 12T
    What too lookout for ??

1 thing I learned about racing which you might know already but sometimes even people that know get in the zone while racing and forget, don't focus on beating and passing your opponents just drive smart and try your best to not make mistakes, I've noticed while racing that 1 little mistake can close a gap big time or even cause a pass up

    I would run a 12, 18-56 is like 28-86 in 48 pitch,this is just my opinion,but would you run 28-86 gears on a sct.
And I'm guessing it's not an official race track,I don't think they let you run 2.8's if it is.

No it's near exactly the same as 28-86.
    18-56=3.11,28-86=3.071.
    four hundred's difference,that's pretty close.
    25-90=3.6.

    Okay..
But I would think there has to be a closer one..
And I just guessed on the pinion by using previous knowledge I didn't really calculate anything
    Maybe 28/90

Okay I used the rr chart..
29/90 will work but it's pretty much thevsame as the gearing you listed billy
So that kinda gives you two options JDenham..

Well I had a blast placed 6th place overall out of 8. The track had some good size jumps. It was a bit loose it some spots. Overall it was fun I stuck with the 18T pin the whole time. Everynow and then it would pull up. The motor run around 115-125 degs temp.

The 2.8 BowTies held up pretty decent. They have a hobby store next to the track so I walked it to check it out and ended up walking out with these for the rear hahaha

Ran into a issue tho. The dang 18T pinion kept poppin off the shaft. I tighten it down snugged so I dunno what's up with that :-/

+1, metal on metal I've learned to use blue loctite, it's not necessary on all places but it'll prevent problems and it's not a problem to get off when you need to but definitely loctite your set scew on your pinion
