    "Torque Limiting" on the XO-1?

Have been reading on this forum for over a year, was time to jump in. Any of you folks been playing around with the torque limiting on the XO-1? VIA Castle link to extreme ESC?

I've disabled TL with the castle link and the car is much more responsive... everyone should do this from my opinion ;-)

I had mine too limited once, it would only do 70 full trigger.

Wow! This is going to take some getting used to. Thanks Ufoman52 for your opinion, it is spot on. For those of you wondering...this XO-1 has just gone to the next level. NO LAG...STRAIGHT THROTTLE.

I ran both with it off then changed my mind for now. 1st XO-1 im running 34 pinion on, torque limiting set at 6 (10% over stock). 2nd XO-1 running 25 pinion, torque limiting set at 7.....im not all there yet with having it off for either one....yet. Did not change any other settings besides the torque limiting.

I would run the stock setting "5" first thats only if you have not run the 34 yet. Run the 29 on 5 then after a few runs bump to 6 and so on until you reach that uncontrollable point. This car is already insane. I'm still using caution when I throttle up on a new setting.

What was your set-up and what was the value that was limiting you to only 70mph with full trigger?

I think it was TL set at 3. If it was gaining speed it was hard to tell. 34/46 unlocked on a dusty surface.

Yea 3 is definitely on the low side. I've left everything at stock until I get used to things and find a larger run area for the 34t pinion.

So is the Torque Limiter Disabled by Default? I went to check my settings and it was already disabled and greyed out. I couldn't adjust the settings without performing a motor test I think.
