    Still slow ??

I recently purchased a new X0-1 and had the ESC unlocked but the RC still seems very slow !! I have the 34 pinion and spurs to match but they have done little to increase the speed !! Any ideas ???

Yes i am...11.1 5000mah 45c x 2. Do you think dis enabling the Torque will help ?? Or changing the timing ??? Even though I have unlocked It via Iphone and receive the email telling me it was successfully unlocked, how do I know it really is ?? This has me stumped !! My E-Revo is faster :-(

Maybe the esc thinks its going in reverse, which would only give 50% power.

jws is right, maybe your leads are hooked up wrong from the motor to the esc

How many packs have u run through it? Many the motor needs some more run time to break in. My summit is almost 2x faster than the gf. I have probably ran 30+ packs were she has barley run 10

If you have a bunch of castle stuff, then I'd start swapping parts out to see if you can isolate the issue. It has to be either the motor or speed controller.

I have 3 other 2200kv combos but just presumed the 1717 big block would blow the 2200kvs ESC.

    Ill ring technical support.

Nah, it won't. If it'll run a 1515, then it'll run the 1717. You won't have to run it but for a minute or two anyways to see if there's an issue.

you can run your 2200 and its going to be faster since its higher KV but heat will rise up quikly. 2200 great for single high speed passes on 6s even 4s.

BL motors dont need break-in only brushed.

Are you saying in your opinion the 2200kv in the XO-1 would pull more than the 1717 big block ??? Seriously ?? If so why did they not just have the 2200kv in it ??

Ive done one of my E-Revos up for speed and speed only and after $$$$$$$ and months of work I got it up to 150kpm !!! But the XO-1 is supposed to do more than 180kpm !!! Surly its motor and ESC make a huge difference !!

heat issue, car's too big, too heavy but its capable of hitting high speed. you have to go 8s to get those numbers with a different ESC thats capable of 8s.
