    Mounting tires tips? Pointers

    Just tried posting in Traxxas alley and post got closed. But all I really need to know is what glue would be the easiest strongest and cleanest. Talon tires onto all star rims

    Turns out the thread did get closed

    I hear good stuff about aka CA glue
    I use OFNA. But that stuffs no good and creates a mess

    My advice is to use a bit at a time

    I've only got super glue.. Any other glues work? What is "CA" glue compared to?

    That's because the Alley is for non-RC related questions. We are trying to clean it up now.

    I've found that super glue and CA glue work about the same. I've had to interchange both of them because I've been out of one or the other so I don't remember now which tires are glued with what.

    If you look at the ingredients you'll see that CA glue is super glue. Except you can buy CA glue in different thickness's.

    Get yourself some tips like below. They make it much easier to do a clean job. My first gluing job came out with no visible glue on the outside of the tire. The tips make it easier to be more precise where you put the glue

    My advice? Buy them mounted.....Why? Cuz it's so much easier and they stay put....
