    Summit Telemetry Install

    Hi,

    I am installing the voltage sensor on a summit and I have a couple quick questions.

    1. Does it matter on which lead I install the Voltage tap?

    2.When I setup the number of cells in link do I put the number of cells (nimh) the battery has in one pack(7)? Or the number of cells in both packs(14)?

    1. Doesn't matter. Whichever is more convenient for you; it made no difference on my E-Maxx.

    2. Number of cells in both packs combined.

    Thanks for the quick reply. My telemetry says the batteries are almost dead even though they are freshly charged. I have to have something that is fubar. I will keep checking.

    Are you talking about the little icon in the upper right corner that's labeled "Veh?" (it only appears when the truck is powered up).

    The little Icon in the corner looks good. It is the battery gauge in traxxis link on my ipod that says I am out of power.

    It doesn't matter on the Velineon but it does on the MMM and EVX-2...

    On the MMM, install it on the side where the red wire comes from the ESC...

    On the EVX-2 install it on the left side (side opposed to the blue button)...

    Check the pictures and see how Traxxas decided to hardwire the voltage sensor on the Velineon and the MMM... I couldn't find a pic of the EVX-2...
