    Rustler XL5 problems

    When ever I connect a fully charge battery, when i hit the throttle it goes slow but when I put it in reverse it goes faster that forward any ideas?

    Try playing with the throttle control knob on you receiver adjust it a tad then try it again

    Is it a brushless system? Is so maybe try switching two of the motor wires.

    It sounds like your throttle channel is reversed or your motor leads are reversed. Adjusting the trim won't reverse the settings. If both are correct, recalibrate the ESC as it might have got calibrated backwards.

    He posted it's a XL5 , Might hv to reprogram transmitter to receiver or you hv motor leads switch around , jmo

    I reprogrammed it and it's still doing the same thing.

    have you got your control on 50/50 or 70/30 ?

    Also make sure you've got the forward and reverse set the right way on the remote.

    It's on 50/50 I tried 70/30 and it did the same thing.

    I'd try another remote and receiver and then another esc if possible. Also if you have swapped it to 70/30 youll need to re programme the transmitter again.
