Blast is too slow

I am looking to give my blast a bit more speed. I have a traxxas velineon 3s speed control and a 1/16 motor. will this work or should I use a 1/10th motor? Also how would I cool the 1/16th motor?

Use the 1/10 scale. The 1/16 is too small and would overheat very quickly imo.

Water cooling for any motor that has even small chance of getting hot.

ok thanks a ton. what motors do u think the 1/10th esc can handle?

That can handle most 540 or 550 sized motors, but Id stick with the stock traxxas one and definetly use water cooling.

what other brushed motors can the stock esc handle?

Probably anything around or above 17 turns. So maybe a monster horsepower motor, reedy radon, or similar.
