Beefing up pro .15 maxx driveline

I'm wanting to beef up my drivetrain on my pro .15 maxx. I did a bit of searching and figured I wanted to use the 3.3 spec axles and carriers and keep the narrow a-arms. Is the parts list below all that I need?
Also I can't find
Any narrow arms for Sale, are they still being produced and sold?

I am going to need a few spare narrow arms. LoL

will those 5451x's fit with narrow arms... even with the proper knuckles id think they still be to long..

I got the hookup my friend. Just PM me, I know where there are 9 new pairs of stock narrow arms. I'm stocking up also lol.

what id suggest for beefing up driveline would be figuring out steel center shafts and axle shafts... then some beefy diffs.. then start looking at transmission upgrades..

I doubt it, the 3.3 truck used the longer arms and the wider axle carriers. They would need to be trimmed to fit.

The transmission and diffs will be fine. Just looking for a axle upgrade

Does any company make a aftermarket CVD option for the pro.15? All I can seem to find is centers

I can't think of anyone still making the narrow CVD's, keep an eye on Ebay, sets pop up from time to time.

That's too bad. From what I read the only people that made them was XTM and dynamite. Both were included in their conversion kits and MIP sold theirs seperatly. I guess I'll have to play the waiting game

dont have to have the hub carriers/tie-rods to mod in the 3.3 axles either if dont want them, after seening your post i was rooting thru my parts and found some for the front of my maxx and modded them in with stock hub carriers...

Still kind of defeats the purpose using the bigger shafts, it's still using the end with the smaller stub on it. Good creativity though. Is that pin glued on there is it still a pin with C clip

personally ive never busted the stockers at the stub yoke, for me it was always the inner yoke... yeah the pin is from the 3.3 shaft and i used washers and the e-clip, and as usual always dab glue on your e-clips... but also to i have cva's rear and cvd's center... and ive never busted a stock 2.5 axle up front i just figured what the heck why not have 3.3's up front if i got em..

for centers i wouldnt suggest this though for the reason you stated, on my stock centers i used to blow out both yokes at the diff and at the trans... not just one...

I used kuskye's method on my 2.5 center shafts only for the transmission side connection (have 4907 3.3 spec diffs in my 2.5 with 3.3 center drive shafts) and never busted a 2.5 yoke. Granted it is only on the trans connection and not the diff side. It was way more durable than the stock shafts ever were.

ive seen many mixed reviews on the MIP's anyway... only ones i see all positive reviews on when it comes to cva/cvd is traxxas brand or THS....

Those MIP wheel cvds work well, you just need to do the cross pin mod. The old style center mip cvd's were a different story and I dont recommend the old style centers.

Stub axles definitely are not shown in the pic, but the wheel nuts are? I’ve seen them in the past listed that way but included the stub axle.
Send the seller an email and ask about the stub axles, they should be included.

Yea it's weird eh. After finding the part number I actually found the Pn I found a few sets on eBay.
Reading lots about pins breaking on CVDs. A lot of people will use drill bit shanks or just thin rods of hardened steel

I read the description and it says new in factory sealed bag, I would email him to confrim both sets are complete.

OldRCGuy, run away from those as fast as posible, they are as bad Integy CVD's, they look al nice and shiny but they are shelf queen parts!
