It could be any number of things. A fried ESC is possible. Were there any lights at all on the ESC (blinking red perhaps?)

Nothing. Even tried brand new ESC I have as spare and still nothing?! Have no clue?
Or there is a other problem that is not allowing the esc to power up, have you opened the receiver box and unplugged the steering servo, and made sure that everything inside the rx box is not wet, not saying it is wet, just asking, might be a bad servo. Try unplugging your steering servo then try to power the esc. Let us know what the outcome is. Good luck and god bless.

Ok, will try today.
Ok, I unplugged the fan. Now when I plug in batt. the ESC lights up green and it is gettin power but when I turn steering it throttles forward without pulling the trigger?!
Your fan, is it a single or dual fan setup? I know from experience that a dual fan setup will cause what you just described. As for your truck rolling on its own it could be in the settings in the radio. Reset the radio and try again.

Single fan, goin to Hobbytown today let the RC Jedi look at it.
Gotta love Hobbytown USA Concord! If Chuck is working, you are in great hands! That guy really knows his stuff! Ryan also is a great help.

Problem solved, had wires plugged into wrong channel ports and had the fan plug in backwards. Rookie move. Oh well she's back in action and ready for Delta RC track tomorrow!
